Uptown Players opens their season with Dan Goggin’s Nunsense Christmas Musical Nuncrackers A-men!, It stars the nuns you love, this time played by men, plus Father Virgil and four of Mount Saint Helen’s most talented students.

Uptown Players will open its 2019-2020 season with Dan Goggin’s Nunsense Christmas Musical Nuncrackers A-men. Nuncrackers A-men is the first “TV Special” taped by the sisters in their convent basement studio for cable access. It stars the nuns you love, this time played by men, plus Father Virgil and some of Mount Saint Helen’s most talented students. Featuring songs such as: “Twelve Days Prior to Christmas,” “Santa Ain’t Comin’ To Our House,” “We Three Kings of Orient Are Us,” and “It’s Better to Give Than To Receive,” the show is filled with “Nunsense” humor. In addition, the show will include a “Secret Santa,” and an uproarious take on Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Ballet.” Nuncrackers A-men will make the audience laugh and will tug at their heartstrings.
Drector Dennis Canright states – “Nuncrackers A-men has a cast filled with some of the funniest actors in Dallas. Combined with Dan Goggin’s hilarious script, it promises to be a holiday show filled with heart, laughs and gaiety with an Uptown Players flair!”
The Uptown Players cast features Mikey Abrams, Duke Anderson, Jude Baremore, Gabriel Ethridge, Sonny Franks, Alyson Greif, Maya Michalski, Randy Pearlman, Summer Stern and Trey Tolleson.
