Although the risk of contracting the coronavirus/COVID-19 in Dallas remains low at this time, the health and safety of our patrons, actors and community is of the utmost importance to us. In light of Sunday’s CDC recommendations concerning public gatherings during the next 6-8 weeks, Uptown Players will be adjusting its performance schedule for the rest of the season, including its next production of Fun Home, which was scheduled to open on April 10. We are working to reschedule as much of the season as we can and will be sharing information about our schedule changes as soon as it is in place. We ask that you not call or email the box office to exchange or refund your tickets until our new schedule is published.
Uptown Players is a not-for-profit organization. The cancellation of theater performances has a direct financial impact on us. This difficult situation is creating challenges in all areas of our economy, but if you are able to give a donation today, there is no better time for your added support. Even the smallest donation will make an impact!
