Jason is thrilled to be making his debut at Uptown Players. Some of his recent stage credits include Ship's Captain in Anything Goes; Red Sauders in Lil and Satchmo; Dr. Fine/Dr. Madden in Next to Normal; Checkers Clark in Bubbling Brown Sugar; Jackie in The Wild Party; Tinman in The Wiz; and Jerome in Naughty but Nice. He had the pleasure of performing with Jubilee Theatre, Casa Mañana, Theatre Under the Stars, Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma, Bishop Arts Theatre, Soul Rep, The Academy of Black Arts and Letters, Greater Lewisville Community Theatre, Firehouse Theatre, Grand Prairie Arts Council, Denton Campus Theatre, the Turtle Creek Chorale and will be performing later this fall with WaterTower Theatre. Jason hails from Beaumont, Texas, and attended Lamar University majoring in Music and Dance. He received his formal dance training with Beaumont Ballet Theatre and was a member of The Bruce Wood Dance Company of Fort Worth.
