MIKEY ABRAMS (Senator Fipp) returns to Uptown Players after a long hiatus. Previous Uptown Players credits include: Kiss of the Spiderwoman (Honored with DFW Best of Year), La Cage Au Folles (Albin), Nuncrakers, Re-Designing Women, Gilligan’s Fire Island, Silence of the Clams, Pageant, It Shoulda Been You, The Producers, Closer to Heaven, Victor/Victoria, Tommy, and countless Broadway Our Ways. Other roles include Cabaret (Emcee-Column Award for Best Actor in a Musical), The Drowsy Chaperone (Man in Chair), and Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead (The Player). He has worked as a performer, director, educator, choreographer, and clinician for over 30 years. Credits include productions with Lyric Stage, Theatre Three, Garland Summer Musicals, ICT Mainstage, Stage West, L.I.P Service, Theatre Arlington, Theatre Frisco, Runway Theater, Lewisville Playhouse, NTPA, Rover Dramawerks, & Allen Contemporary Theatre.
