Krista Scott

Krista is a professor of Theatre at TCU, where she teaches classical acting courses, voice & speech and dialects. She has acted in or directed dozens of plays in the DFW area and coached dialects for the Uptown Players production of Kinky Boots and Fire and Air as well as numerous productions at Theatre Three, Shakespeare Dallas, Casa Mañana, Circle Theatre, Amphibian Stage, Shakespeare Theatre Company (Wash. DC), Connecticut Rep, Hangar Theatre and Kitchen Theatre. She was voice and text director for three seasons at the Illinois Shakespeare Festival and for two at the Trinity Shakespeare Festival. Krista is an associate teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework™, an associate editor for the International Dialects of English Archive and co-creator of ActingAccents.com.
