At Uptown Players, actor bios serve primarily as professional resumes, rather than personal statements. The following format is requested for marketing/playbill bios:
Length: 150 words or less.
Content: (in order, as applicable)
1. Uptown appearances
2. Broadway
3. Professional theatrical credits (include company)
3. Professional film credits and TV credits (for TV, include network)
4. Training/Education
5. Italicize all productions and shows; put locations/theaters/networks in parenthesis. See example to the right.
Please do not include personal greetings, notes, websites, social media handles, personal projects, etc. If any edits are made to your bio, you will have the opportunity to review and revise edits before a final program is printed.
